(b) The Council will enable the delivery of new homes to help meet London's housing
needs and local housing needs by aiming to deliver at least 12,009 new homes over the
plan period 2024-2041, subject to any subsequent borough target approved by the
Mayor of London. The 12,009 housing requirement figure will be delivered at the
following rates:

The 2021 London Plan's 10 year target for net housing completions (2019/20 -2028/29) for Sutton is 4,690 dwellings.
