Policy SHO1 - Delivering Sustainable Housing Growth
1. Sufficient land will be provided to deliver at least 10,434 net new homes over the period 2024 - 2041. (Reg 19, Sep 2024).
Initial Advice from Inspector (Oct 2025) states that, "Initial figures produced at the hearing indicated a revised
requirement of around 11,901 homes and, whilst this figure will need to be confirmed by the Council and agreed by me, it represents an increase of around 1,467 homes over the plan period."
