S2.2 The Local Housing Requirement
A local housing requirement of a minimum of 982 dwellings per year over the period to 31 March 2043 will be achieved in North Tyneside through the allocation of sufficient deliverable housing sites and where required additional developable sites and broad locations for growth.
16,694 homes must be planned for between 2026/27 and
2042/43.
