The LPA paused the review due to major Government changes to planning, which increased the number of homes that now have to built in North East Lincolnshire to 622 per year. This will total 11,196 homes over the period of the plan which, once adopted, will run from 2025-2043.
To reflect these changes, we resumed the review with this Stage Three Local Plan consultation. Asking for comments on all parts for the 2025 – Preferred Options Local Plan (PDF, 15MB) . The consultation ran from December 8, 2025, until 23:59 on Sunday 1st February 2026.
