Policy STP1: Liverpool’s Growth Strategy For the period to 2043 the Local Plan supports: Delivery of a minimum of 33,750 net additional dwellings by 2043, equating to at least 1,875 homes per annum to 2043. The minimum housing need requirement for Liverpool as derived from the Government’s Standard Methodology for calculating housing needs is 33,750 net new homes across the whole plan period (2025 to 2043) which equates to 1,875 homes per annum. Reg 19 consultation (Aug 2026)
