7/9/26: Plan Period updated to 2042
7/9/26 update: Updated from Inspectors Report. In line with the 1-year extension to the Plan period, for effectiveness, the housing requirement in Policy OSS1 should be increased by 380 dwellings, to 6,840 dwellings in total. [MM10]
25/9/26: Adopted Plan. The overall housing requirement for the borough for the period 2024-2042 is 6,840 homes.
To reflect the anticipated rate of delivery of the housing supply, the housing requirement
will be stepped as follows:
• Period 1: 2024/25 – 2027/28 = 353 dwellings per annum
• Period 2: 2028/29 – 2033/34 = 380 dwellings per annum
• Period 3: 2034/35 – 2041/42 = 394 dwellings per annum
