Policy 1.2: Housing Requirement and Delivery
1. The Local Plan makes provision for around 22,000 dwellings to be delivered in Bath and North East Somerset during the period 2025 - 2043.
2. Stepped Housing Requirement: to reflect the realistic delivery trajectory of sites and the timing of infrastructure provision, the following stepped housing requirement will apply:
• 2025–2031/32 Total: 5,320 dwellings Annual requirement: c. 760 dwellings
• 2032/33 –2042/43 Total: 16,698 dwellings Annual requirement: c. 1,518 dwellings
